The Environmental Resilience Institute will hire two IU students to support a National Science Foundation Civic Innovation Challenge (NSF CIVIC) project in partnership with four Midwestern communities working to increase climate resiliency by expanding their tree cover and examining common barriers to that effort.

Volunteer for local food justice |
Mother Hubbard's Cupboard (Bloomington's nonprofit food pantry, community garden, and food advocacy organization) seeks students looking for a hands-on, varied volunteer experience
throughout the spring semester. Duties could include supporting spring planting and garden maintenance; managing seed, plant, and garden supply giveaways; assisting with in-pantry programming; attending staff meetings; and contributing to other operations. Student positions are also available in MHC's education and advocacy programs.
